
Oscar Nava (he.him) is a California native who specializes in Performance, Mask and Puppetry, Poetry, and Visual Arts. He received his BA as a double major in Performance Theatre and Economics from Whittier College (2018), followed by his MFA in Ensemble-Based Physical Theatre from Dell’Arte International (2021).
Oscar works as an puppeteer, performer, arts educator, and illustrator. You can view samples of Oscar’s work in Performance; Mask & Puppetry; and Illustration.
You can catch Oscar as a quadruped puppeteer and host for the National History Museum and La Brea Tar Pits, working closely with Dakota and Cali, the museum’s resident triceratops and sabertooth cat.
